4 boys in a Jenny? |
|
Thanks so much guys for your help on a previous topic of mine "to get 2 more ratties or not" it really helped.
Just to update you i have scouted out a breeder of cinnamon and cinnamon pearl who may have boys looking for homes but i'll have to wait and see.
What i was wondering though is this, is a ferplast Jenny big enough for 4 male rats? I did the cage calculator which told me it was big enough for 5 rats but i have had problems with cage calculators being wrong in the past and wanted to ask your advice on this, thanks

Don't quote me on this as a definite, but I would say yes. As they are designed for rats and ferrets, and you can keep 2 ferrets in there. I would definitely say three to four. The main thing I guess is that they all get decent exercise and interaction with you outside of the cage.. People with a bit more experience may disagree.. This is just from what I have heard and seen..
