And then there were three |
|
I just lost Sophie, the last of the Humane Society mice I adopted just over a year ago. She didn't have any noticable health problems, other than that she had been slowly losing weight over the past few months. Once the butterball of the group, she became a frail looking, skinny old mouse, but got even more personality with age. She shared my dinner each evening and was a bottomless pit and had to have a sample of everthing, wanting more long after the other mice had filled up and lost interest.
Remaining are Holly, the wild mouse who started it all and who I suspect will outlive them all, and Spot and Thistle, litter sisters who are now well over a year and a half old, but seem to be doing fine.

I'm so sorry for your loss.
Sleep tight, Sophie, and play hard.

Thanks guys. That big cage is starting to look pretty empty, but if there is a bright side, it doesn't need cleaned quite as often.

I don't make it to this forum very often, but when I do, I look forward to seeing and reading about your mice, Wade.
I'm so sorry that it was Sophie's time to go. {{{{hugs}}}} to you, Spot, Holly and Thistle.
Play hard at the bridge sweet little girl.
