Are mice really gud as pets? |

Just out of interest, to you mouse owners, can mice successfully be trained to be friendly, and what is better, 2females or 2males??(or are they solitary?)
thanx, dnt worry, not planning to run out and get any, moms thinking of getting some in about a yearish time
thanx

Well, I'm sort of owned by a mouse, but I he's a rescued little wild mousie, so I can't really comment on their suitability as pets. I believe that domesticated mice make very good pets, but of course they are much more fragile than rats.

I had mice when I was a little girl.
I think they are crazy ridiculous cute, but
1) They are so tiny it is darn near impossible to hug them, and
2) They have a bit of a fragrance.

Hey, I own mice. Both sexes separated of course. They are great pets. Not as cuddly as rats but some can be if you get them when they are young enough. I love to watch my mice interact with each other.
Some ppl think that having two females is better because they say the males have a stronger scent, I personally haven't noticed this with my mice. But females might be safer because I think my mice are abnormal.
Hope this helps a little
