Post Catching mice...
My grandparents have been getting mice in their house alot lately. They set traps and have killed quite a few... now I'm not against getting the mice out of their house- I completely understand that!! But I was talking to them last night and they agreed to letting me get traps to catch them alive if I'm the one who will relocate them. That's fine with me! If they don't have to die, don't kill em!!

So what are the best traps for catching them? Where should I get them (the traps)? I'd like to not have to spend a LOT of money, but will do what it takes to have these cuties stay alive wink

Hav-a-hart. I bought one for $15 at a hardware store, WORKS WONDERS. I caught 2 deermice and 1 "fancy" mouse in it.

Good luck!

Yup, that's what we always use for wild mice too.

When catching wild ones, you have to consider a few things: do you live in an area (suh as the four corners of the US) where Hanta is present? Can you be sure you're not separating nursing mothers from babies when you trap? Can you always bring them over 2 miles away so they can't find their way back? Some things to think about.

If you saw a man drowning and you could either save him or photograph the event ... what kind of film would you use?

I had thought of that... but then realized that the only other option if I don't bring in live traps, is my grandparents will keep using the ones that kill them. Either way the mouse will be seperated from babies if she has them... only my way, she'll live.

Yes. We have a state park near my house and I'll be taking them there. It's well over 2 miles from my grandparent's house wink
