 Congratulations, Sonny! (Thye babies are here!) |

Twelve wonderful babies were born on January 31, 2006 at 7am. These babies share my darling fiance's birthday (he is so overjoyed!). Seven beautiful girls and five bouncing boys. They are all reserved. God, I am so happy to see a large litter. I was terribly worried after only two surviving the last time.

i never get tired of seeing these little pink miracles of life. and baby rats are about as wonderful as it gets. mom does the cooking and cleaning for the babies, human does the cooking and cleaning for the mom, and the babies just look adorable as can be. even their cries for mom/more food are adoreable.

Mom's Russian Blue and Dad's Russian Silver. They're both carriers for American blue with possible mink. So, Russian Silver, Russian Blue...maybe a mink-based dilute or two as well. We'll see as things come out.
