Post Enzyme cleaners???
I've seen a few ppl on this forum write about enzyme cleaners being realy good to get the smell out of cages and to clean them properly and I was wondering where do I get it, what's it called and how do I use it LOL ???Do I dilute it?Do I spray it on then leave it or just spray then wipe Confused ????I live in Australia but I hope I can still get it down here!Sorry for all the questions but at the moment I just use hot water with dishwashing liquid in it.Is there any other safe alternatives that would work better???Thanx again!!!! I was using washing up liquid to clean my cages as well up until a couple of months ago when I found this Canadian-made all-purpose cleaner called 'Nature Clean'. It's septic-safe, non-toxic, odour free, not tested on animals, no animal ingredients...I use it for everything, from washing my floors, toilet, rat cage, to washing my dishes and my smalls that can't go in the washing machine (I even use it as shaving gel for shaving my legs Embarassed ).

That sounded like a commercial Embarassed Anyway, I'm finding that this cleaner does a 100% better job at cleaning the rat cage than my washing up liquid used to, even though there are no enzymes in it. So if you go to the 'organic/health' section of your supermarket, you could more than likely find something suitable there.

It's pretty amazing  I had originally been looking for Dr. Bonner's which is used by some people on here but couldn't find it anywhere. But then I found this product line -- there are also laundry detergents and window cleaners
