Post Ferrit Shampoo?
Is ferrit shampoo okay for rats?
I got this because I couldn't find any other samll animal shampoo
(it smells good)
I need something to use 24 hours after thier Advantage treatments, plus the boys get that male oily stuff on them. The puppy stuff I was using didn;t work well.

I use baby shampoo. I'm not really sure about ferret shampoo, but I did have some small animal (which included ferrets) shampoo and had no problems with it.

Hm...my vet told me not to bathe my boys for 2 weeks after thier mite treatment. But he used revolution. Maybe advantage is stronger or some thing. Or maybe my vet just didn't know what he was talking about. I hadn't used him before and haven't had to take them since...so I don't know.

You don't want to bathe them for at least three days after you do the advantage. It'll wash it off. That's what I was told when I bought my advantage for my ferrets. I used ferret shampoo on my rats because I didn't have anything else. I haven't had any problems with it.

I got a sample of medicated pet shampoo from work. It seems to agree well with Lestat, and left him smelling puuuuuuuuurty. I can get the name of it for you tonight.
