Holly (Nov 2003-Jan16 2006) |
|
Holly, the little wild house mouse that started it all, passed away yesterday. She was a bit over 2 years old and unlike most mice, looked great until the end. It was a bit of a surprise as I really thought her wild vigor would keep her going longer, but 2 years is still good for a mouse.
Now I'm down to just the two sisters, who will be two next month and are showing their age.

I'm so sorry, Wade. Several of us here have little wild ones "that started it all" and I think we all hope they will be super mice. Holly had a wonderful life with you and her domestic mates.

Aw. I'm glad your little girl was healthy until the end atleast. It beats being sickly for months on end barely hanging on.
I'll keep her sisters in my thoughts.

I'm so sorry.
At least she wasn't in pain.

I'm so sorry for your loss.
Sleep tight, Holly, and play hard.
