 i have finally achieved the next level of rattie ownership. |

i used to always make my girls make do with what "I" could fit in my room.
first i stuffed four girls into a 20 high gallon tank. next i made them live in a 29 gallon tank but when that broke i forced them to make do with a 20 gal tank again. (and i am GREATLY ashamed of myself)
when i finally moved out of my parents house, i butted two 20 gallon tanks up against eachother and only kept three girls. ( i finally learned that the dimensions of this setup was barely enough for three)
now, i have been offered a superbly sweet double rex and this cage just wouldn't do...
sooo......
I JUST GOT MY MARTINS CAGE TODAY!!!!
and the girls have been exploring it all over and over. up down down up...
and now they smell soooo good, because when girls are happy, they smell sooo sweet.
YAY ME!

Nicccee Angelratgirl, I bet that set you back a few bucks.......but you now have happy ratties it seems....now all I gotta do is get Rikku a bigger cage, and everytime I am ready, a dang bill pops up and prevents it.......poor Rikku
BTW, which model is that, it is sweet looking!

Congrats to you and your girls! They do look so happy  How come your R-685 has more levels than mine? :/ Yours looks like it has more levels! Pooh, now I must go peek and see! I think you should post a few more pics of the girls enjoying themselves...they are a crack up!

Wonderful! My rats started out in an 80 gallon aquarium until I got their martin's cage. My is an R-690 I'm pretty sure. Good job on setting it up, it looks great!
