I had read somewhere on that site that some people put it in their pets' drinking water. Bad idea, IMO. At least, not until they start disclosing all of their ingredients.
Perhaps you got some before they started adding the citrus scent? |
I know-I went back and read that too-that is too much though, and I wouldn't do it. Going to the vet tomorrow and will ask...

I wouldn't use the Healthy Habitat stuff. If they really cared about your pet(s)'s well-being(s), they'd tell you what they put in their product! Just saying what's really in it doesn't disclose their "recipe", whatever the heck that may be.
Also, can't the breakdown of these "organic compounds" release some form of something?
I'm really wary of this product, I'd do way more research into it before just using it.

I have had a total of 35 rats over the past ten years, sometimes up to 8 at once. I have never had bad odor problems. Have had both males and females. They live in separate ferret cages, carefresh bedding, cleaned once a week with dish soap and hot water, cages sitting on throw rugs that i wash once a month. Have them in their own bedroom which gets the same air flow as any other room in the house depending on the season. One thing i do use is a ionic breeeze air filter in the room, maybe that has made the difference. Good luck.
