 Martins cage...need to vent |

I LOVE Martin's Cages...but I made a bad choice with the aquarium topper. I just was not thinking. You're so limited as to where you can put things, and it is a pain in the but to try to clean since you have to lift the whole cage topper off to get to where they actually mess it up. Grrrr, okay, I'm done venting now! I know better the next time.

I have the altimate "aquarium topper" that we put together ourselves. Our tank is 55 gallons and we have two Martins 690s sitting on top of it. the two cages are accessible from the tank using bird ladders, so the rats have a huge area to live in. And the tank keeps them safe from the brat of a dog that would love to kill them.
But....it is a MAJOR PITA to clean. Or if I have to get a rat out of it and they are in the tank, I have to break the whole thing apart.
