 Mice vs. Rats |

I never thought of mice as really social like rats, but are they? Do they make as good pets as rats do?

I think they do but most people would probably say they dont. It depends greatly on the individual animal, just like rats. They are probably not good for kids pets because they are so small and easily hurt. They are harder to medicate and vet treatment is often limited due to the size.
Personally though, I find my mice much more social than my rats, but it is an individual thing, like some people relate better to dogs than cats.
