Ace is not being a good boy!
He just will not leave his surgery alone. I tried the wrap, and after an hour he said that was enough, and ripped it off. *sigh*

I didnt do it. Whatever it was, I didnt do it!

Does it look like i'm frowning!

This is soooooo NOT cool!

I'm about ready to cry, pull my hair out or just put me in a rubber room! He just wont leave his surgery alone! We tried the bad tasting medicines and he likes them. I dont know what else to do, so this was the last option, he hates it and has tried and tried to take it off, so far it hasnt budged! Crossed Fingers

Well w went to the vets and they drained Ace again. Then injected Baytril into him. The vet said he looks pretty good and was impressed with the e-collar that I made him. Even more impressed that it was staying on! :BlueDumboSmile: So Ace is slowly on his way to recovery with an updated version of his e-collar

Ok so its better than the last one......

Aww...poor Ace. He's so pitifully cute though. Even if he doesn't like his nice collar it will make him feel better. I told Owen his insides would fall out if he pulled out his staples and he's only removed 1 so far...I think he's trying to avoid one of those lovely collars. Hang in there Ashley...you're doing your best for Ace, even if he is grumpy about it. Hug

You have my sympathies, Ashley, since I'm going through the same thing with Spook just now. She ripped her wound to pieces and had to be restitched. But bacteria must have got in there despite the vet's best efforts and now her wound is pussy and smells like over-ripe cheese. Her original stitches should have come out last Saturday, but now she will be wrapped up like the mummy until this Friday.
Tell Ace the same thing will happen to him if he isn't good! I hope he heals quickly and can be free from his collar soon.

Oh poor guy !!! He looks very annoyed for sure. It is a good thing he cannot get to the sutures, Give Ace man some kisses from me. And a hug to you from me! Keep up the good work, Being a mommie sucks at times.

Poor Ace! His sad face just tugs at my heart! I hope that the collar will work and he won't be too miserable until he heals properly.

Oh poor Ace. He definitely does not look very happy in his new little satellite dish! Give that boy some scritches for me. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for him in hopes he recovers quickly!

Maybe you could put some decorative rivets in his collar and tell him it's his Harley-Davidson tough guy outfit! It would go so well with the undershirt he had last week. I wish there were diet yogies so he could eat them up for being such a good boy. It will all be better soon!

Nice collar! Ace is cute even when he's unhappy. Come to think of it, you could redo the collar into one of those Elizabethan frilly things and dress Ace up all medievel-like.

He doesn't look quite so annoyed by the new collar. Funny, I never thought of Ace as a flowery kind of guy, that pink tutu must have affected him badly.
