 Murray has roomies! I have pics!! LOTS! |

Wow, it's been awhile! After the girls were spayed they got to rest in a hospital cage. They have never been so bored in their lives! I couldn't do too much because everything excites them.  It was awful, "Girls, you're insanely bored for your own good! Really!" I kept thinking of Esme, Lynn. She was bored with eepers these girls are bored without eepers, I wished they had email! Joshua, on the other hand was very entertained watching them. After two weeks we had the least squeaky intros of all! The girls went from trying to pull Murray through the bars to being rather ladylike. Poor Murray was sooo lonely after Simon died he relished visiting the unspayed girls while I held him. I let them have their first free romp one night after surgery and was amazed how smoothly it went.  Now, Issabella is hanging from the ceiling, and Murray is in their bowl. He claims it's a car. They bonded over oysters, ewww.

It snowed so I made a snowrat aka statue for Arvay to thank her for bringing me Simon and Duncan...better late than never!

Oh how wonderful they are all getting along and Murray now has his very own harem. I'm sure the girls are thinking of it as having their very own mattress and bunching bag .

They look so happy together! I bet Murray is adoring having his harem of beautiful does to enjoy. Cheesy and Issabella both appear to be staying petite like their sisters Beignet here and Cassie with Debbie. Miss Rowena is actually a silvered out blue, though her sister Hel is a bona fide russian silver.
Murray really has that sweet face like his daddy did. I really miss Herschel but it makes me smile to see him alive in his children. Esme is doing very well as are Elspeth and Miss G and Sirius Blue. As far as I know, Bru Bear is doing just fine at his home as well, so all parents are well accounted for. Give them all big hugs from me!

Thanks, eyeryone.  Murray has a knack for insanely cute face pics.
Everyone was bruxing at the compliments. Rowena is an American(I think she's American) blue Berkshire, with deep ruby eyes that look black but she often photographs lighter than she is. I had a dream she turned into a blue point Smeeze before I adopted her! This pic shows her color better and is a group pic as well!
Rowena is the biggest girl, she always takes food from me, though she usually puts it down to get more, and prefers me or exploring above almost anything. It's a funny combination with her-Gregory took food to be polite but he would eat it if he liked it, but Rowena has to put it all away first, though she doesn't really stash it!  Both of them seem to be extra happy that I'm hand feeding them, though Greg was so polite he would take alphalfa sticks from me-he just wouldn't eat them. Rowena is more hyper so if she isn't crazy about what I'm feeding her she'll lose interest and be off!
EDIT: Lynn, I didn't see your post before. I'm so very sorry you lost sweet Herschel.  He was so handsome and sweet.  I'm sure Braford and Chianina are happy to see him, along with his other relatives. Huge ((HUGS)) to you, Angus and his other cagebuddies from Mur and I. If he could jump through the screen Murray would let you cry on his fur and squish him, he's got lots to squish, a family trait. :*) I remember looking at Herschel after I lost Sham and thinking what a kind, gentle giant ratty, like Sham was and Murray is. :*) Ford had a very sweet face but he was much smaller than Murray so he wasn't a gentle giant but a sweet shrimp-he never let lack of size get him pushed around though, as sweet as he was-I miss him so much. I'm glad everyone else is well. Please give them a kiss and yogie for me, especially Esme and Sirius-those two couldn't get enough rat-tention! About what weight would you say is average for the girls' age? (I'm too sleepy to do the calculation!)
Issabella has a bit of silvering as does Rowena, but Murray really is a charcoal grayish color, where he has cow rat spots. I think Cheesy might be a bit silvered but she's a curly girly so it's harder to tell on her.
Remember, Arvay, I offered to start a collection to have a statue built if you gave them a ride but you said it was fine to not build a statue. It was my first snowy morning and I wanted to build a snow-something and rather quickly and thus the snowDumbo! I guess it shouldn't surprise me that its ear was the first to go.
