i had two mice, mouse and birdseed, i adopted bird seed of an old man who bred mice to feed to his bird, she was pregnant, now she has had her babys and they are 3 weeks and they bite! i always thaught that mice inhereted there mothers temprements, bird seed is the most frendliest bundle of love ever and would never hurt me? i'm confused, will they stop biting?

I don't know much about mice, but I bet someone else here will have a better guess (or answer) than mine: Is it possible they are playing, like puppies or kittens do, and play-bite? Except that mouse teeth are probably like little needles so it doesn't feel like play.

When you say bite do you mean bite or nibble? At 3 weeks they try to eat everything, not sure whats food and whats not. If you have any food on your fingers, or even the smell of soap its too much to resist and they will try to nibble. Is that whats happening?
You do know that you have to seperate them around about now or you are going to have lots more.....if you keep all the males together in one large tank they should be OK and not fight as they are litter mates. Sometimes they get on sometimes not, depends on the group. If they start to "scuffel" dont worry, they all do that, if theres no blood I figure its alright and they are just working out a pecking order. Are you going to keep them all?
