New twist on the wheel |
|
Two new male mice came to live here recently. Very young, very silly. I dont think they ever had a wheel before because they think the idea is to sit on top of it for as long as you can!
There is a box near the wheel and they somehow get on top of the solid wheel and sit there, usually just a few seconds and then fall off. I never see them in the wheel, just on top. Perhaps they need lessons.
I have another boy who has a box near the wheel as well. He stands on the box so his back legs are still and runs with just his front legs on the outside of the wheel. It is hilarious! Every time it cracks me up, I cant work out if he's just really dumb or knows what he is doing and is "cheating" on his exercise programme.

Or perhaps they are very, very intelligent, and are conducting a study to record your reactions to their weird behaviour.
