I lost my last girly, Daisy, Saturday night. Some of you might remember when I adopted her and her sisters last March. Daisy was the shy one. She never did get used to being handled but she always came out of her nest for scritches when I called her.

As for me, I'm going to remain ratless for a while. I don't feel that I have enough time or space to give more ratties the attention and free range time they need. In the past the rats had their own room - or at least a safe room - where they could be let out for a few hours; in this house that isn't feasible.

Rest now my little one. I miss you.

Mia-bunn is good at facewashing when I've been crying. I don't know what I would do without her.

Angela, I'm so sorry you lost your last rattie.

I lost my last fuzbutt over a year ago, and have been ratless ever since. I found coming onto this forum and listening to everyone else's stories an enormous help.

I am not in a postion to get more rats, as I have now rescued two Jack Russells and they would NOT mix with rats, but I still feel like I'm part of the communityby visiting Rat Palace.
