I have a very similar platform (courtesy of the Rat Warehouse) and it's great - much more stable in a corner though, and with a loop of wire at each end and the back corner so it doesn't pop out under the weight of my big butts. But I don't know of any pvc or powdercoated metal ladders that you can get alone, sadly. Perhaps you could get some PVC or powdercoated mesh with small holes and make some ramps yourself?

Plastic is probably a good idea since it can be cleaned and all of that.
