Here here, Ive often wondered the same thing! When I make hammocks and use any chewable rope type things to hang it, theyve chewed through it in a day,

Just go to a hardware store and choose from many different sizes of chain.

What about the clip things that go on either end? If these people who make and sell hammocks can get them then somewhere must sell them in batches?

Craft and/or hardware stores for the clip things in bags of 50 - 100. Cheap.

I had the same dilema when I started making my own hammocks. I couldn't find them ANYwhere or anything even close.
I did go to Home Depot and bought some very small bungie cords instead. They work perfectly.......unless you have avid chewers. I found that some of the girls would chew right through them.
I started making my hammocks larger, pounding gromments into the ends and we use S hooks (tiny ones you can buy at home depot) that we just hang them from the ramps to the sides of the cage.
I also hear that metal shower curtain hangers work too....but all I can find are the fancy decorator types.
