 THe Definition of "Rat" |
|
They chose to be with you
And boggle and brux too
They chose to bond with you
And love you like no human could.
They come to this world as little pink beans
Some get first fate of death, and some get a life of love
They come knowing so much,
They learn so much more by teaching us
How to care, love, and understood
Their eyes are filled with love as the run up to the door
Little hands holding the bars
They follow you with their eyes, all around the room
And snuggle with you every chance they could
They are only here a short while,
That’s why you must love every second they are
And grasp to them like the grasp to you
Holding your finger with both warm paws
They only expect us to love them
And they give us so much more
They make us laugh, and smile
They make us cry, and mourn
They are gods only creation
That knows exactly what to do
They are gods little angels
These are what we call Rats.
The little things that doubt the world
The only thing that is pure
They don’t follow an image
They lead one
One thing in the world not understood
The world is run by the media
Filled with lies
Rats are the angels
Of truth
The big eyes will close
In years, just a few
Bringing so much joy outweighs the pain
Of losing the one who believed in you
But rats understand that they live short
And teach us all they know
Tell us to get some more,
Never to let go
For if these angels join your life,
They tell you not to mourn
But to remember all the good things
That make you smile
They tell you, to get some more angels
They seek you for who you are
They teach you, to always love even if you’re sore
And never ever give up, always remember
That somewhere out there, at a bridge
You had a rat that left too soon,
And now she’s watching over you.

Ooh, very nice! I wrote a poem about my rat Blaze a few years back...I wish I had it stored on this computer, I would have posted it. My English teacher loved it and made me read it out loud in front of the class
