The new Martin's has arrived! |
|
Well, our first Martin's cage was delivered this morning (r695). Now I'll be able to do a full comparison on Martin's/Quality Cage cages. I'll let you guys know how it goes. I'm waiting for Nevets to get home to put it together......I wouldn't want to break a nail or something ha ha
Daphne, Venus and Oliver will live in the new cage. But for now, it will be just the girls. Oliver had yet another ear catastrophe. I just don't get it. I never let Nala near him, but did bring out his other pals to visit during his recovery from Nala's attack last week. This time, Abby hauled off and bit him (first time ever....and no it wasn't her that bit him last time either ). Our Thursday night consisted of two emergency room visits, tons of bleeding and 4 stitches. My poor baby.
He's doing better today and was checked over thoroughly by our usual vet. The stitches come out next Saturday. THEN he can move in with his new ladies.....who adore him and hopefully will NEVER pick on him.

Poor Oliver. I hope his ear heals up soon. And I hope you like your Martins! The wheel will hang from the ceiling in that one.

Thanks Christy. I was looking at your pics in the cage gallery before I ordered my cage. I am planning to hang the wheel in the same place as you have done. None of the other ratties ever used their wheels so I pulled them out. But I figure if ANYone will use a wheel, it will probably be little miss busy bee, Venus
Nevets got home late from work last night so we will put the cage together here in a couple of hours. I can't wait for the girls to see their new digs.......and eventually for Oliver to join them.

I'm sorry to hear Oliver had another ear incident--the boys and I send him get well kisses and scritches.
