It is a Martin's R-695. My three girls aren't too sure what to do with all of that extra room! LOL

I have one too. My boys like to sleep all day in a big hammock hung from the top with a blanket ceiling laid over the cage.

This cage is so much bigger than our old cage we don't have enough toys and such to fill it. I took some of the shredded newspaper used as packaging in the box the cage came in and threw in in the cage, Nora's been busy working at that stuff for hours already.

But the ratties really like it. Molly seems happier than I've seen her in a long time, there were days where I was thinking she might be a little depressed but she's alive with activity now. Tevy while quarantined as a baby lived in a hamster cage that was very tall and with no levels, and by the end of her quarantine was quite the acrobat, hanging upside down from the top and such. The cage we had the three of them in before we got this one didn't have the space between the levels for her to continue her gymnastics career, but now she's got the space, and I've already watched her going monkeybars from the ceiling on a couple of occasions. Nora's a busybody and has just been plowing around and moving things and arranging things and fighting anybody that makes a mess of her living room.

I would suggest a few Dearpie or Hammocks by Sondra to fill the extra room. wink

And, to keep rattie feets happy, I would use linoleum on the floors. Helps keep rat pee from forming "pee-cicles" on the underside. LOL

I just got the same thing! I also have two girlies living it in, and they couldn't be happier. I'm having the same problem filling it up, too.

Yours is looking pretty well decorated so far, though. Mr. Green

Thanks for the suggestion we are definitely looking at getting more hammocks in the near future!

As for the linoleum... Honestly I would find it more of a bother to have to wipe that off every day or even a few times every day so that they wouldn't be lieing in puddles.... I usually wipe down the bars twice a week or so, so peecicles won't be a problem.

I have the R-695 for my two girlies and they love it!! Beats the 10 gallon with the tank topper...that's for sure. I lay down fleece on each level and change it every few days.
I love Martins...great prices...great design...happy pets...or should I say happy "ratties" LOL

Totally! It cost me $210 with the exchange rate and shipping, but so far I'd say it was totally worth it.
