 Which cage should I get? |

I'm going to order a cage from http://www.martinscages.com/products/cages/rat/
I was thinking of the R-685 for my two boys. What do you all think? And what's the difference between galvanized and powder coated (besides price  ) Thanks

That's a nice cage. I've thought about getting that one once I have enough money.
Powder coated is better (in my opinion) because it... repels things like pee. It can soak into galvanized wire cages, and it's hard to get it to not stink. I've also heard talk of harmful chemicals (?) and stuff being on galvanized wires.
(Sorry, I hope I'm making sense, not feeling well. )

Great cage for 2 boys! I have two of the 695's and love them. Definitely go with the powder coated. It's a little more expensive but very much worth it. It makes it easier to clean and keeps urine smells from soaking into the wire which will never ever come out. I had a galvanized cage once and will never EVER have another without powder coating again.
