wodent wheels |

I m aware they are good wheel yeah.
But I have A Slide out pan.
How would this work? How could I attach one?
What one do you recomend, Senior (11") or Wobust (12")
I have girls, but do oyu think the biggest would be the best as one of my girls is getting big.

I'm not completely sure, but my Wodent wheel (which is discarded as none of my lot run in it) is a free standing one... So I don't think attachment is a problem. You just stand it there (and perhaps use something like clips or a twist of coated garden wire to secure it to the side of the cage if you're concerned about it moving or tipping).
Girls should be fine in the Senior, but if you have a really large girl (how big is she?) or simply want to be sure, you can go for the Wobust one.

Speaking of wheels. I was considering getting one but I don't want to buy one and have the boys just stare at it like it's some sort of alien space craft (like they did with the run around ball).
I mean I don't really think the boys will need it seing as they will be sharing 15 cubic feet of space with Bo when i'm done with Quarentine but I thought it might be nice for them if they actually use it.
So my question is. Are most rats as disgusted with rodent wheels as they seem to be with run around balls?

It depends on the rat really. Girls seem to be more likely than boys to wheel run, but many simply aren't interested, or use it as a nest box (or a litter tray in the case of my lot). I'd say they're a bit more popular than balls, but they're not super popular like they are with hamsters or gerbils (who I've seen run for hours non-stop in the things). Some rats love it, but most of them simply don't see the point in running in the wheel when there are other things to explore, places to go, things to do etc.

Okay. I don't think i'll waste my money. With so much room in thier cabinent and their frequent out side time I don't think they will care for a wheel.

I bought the 11 inch wodent wheel for my females..I use the stand that comes with it, and then I attach the back base of the stand to the bars. Started out only one girl used it, and then they taught each other and now, a month later, they all use it (well, except for my two oldies). It was a great investment, and since they all use it, Im thinking of getting a second one for my cage, even.

I got a silent spinner, had to remove a ramp to fit it in, it was MASSIVE (as in I can fit my ENTIRE head inside the wheel). Matilda, IMMEDIATLY started to run on it, now she is sleeping in it, stumbles is curious of it, Shroomy however is so terrified of it.
Matila LOVES it.
a good buy!
