Very pretty. Your dad does nice work. What sort of wood did he use? Is that backed with ... what's that stuff called? ... particle board sort of stuff, the one with holes? Cos you may want to seal that with shellac (which is non-toxic). If the rest of the wood in/of the cage is not sealed (can't tell from the pix), think about sealing it all with shellac to prevent the entire cage from becoming one big pee soak.
