wooden parrot ladders with cement rungs- safe? |

hi all. i went to look at buying a ladder for my cage and found some large wooden parrot ladders with cement rungs simillar to the ones in the link below and wondered if they would be safe to use and if they would keep the rats nails in trim.

it's fine. probably won't do anything for claws, but it shouldn't hurt them...

They will chew them and pee on them, but otherwise they're fine.
